Установка на macOS

Относится к образу TMC_Suite.dmg — в нём все шесть программ пакета. Приложения пока не подписаны у Apple, поэтому первый запуск нужно разрешить.

1. Требования к системе

macOS 11 ставилась на маки примерно с 2013 года: MacBook Air и MacBook Pro конца 2013-го, iMac 2014-го, Mac mini 2014-го, Mac Pro 2013-го и всё, что вышло позже. Дополнительно устанавливать ничего не требуется — библиотеки Qt лежат внутри каждого приложения.

2. Перенос программ в «Программы»

  1. Откройте скачанный файл TMC_Suite.dmg двойным щелчком — образ смонтируется и откроется в отдельном окне Finder.
  2. Выделите в этом окне все шесть программ — TMCROS, TMCGROUT, TMC_DN, PlanarRT_H, PlanarRT_X, FieldView — и перетащите их в папку «Программы».
  3. Закройте окно образа и извлеките его: в боковой панели Finder нажмите значок извлечения рядом с именем TMC_Suite.

Запускать программы прямо из образа нельзя. Образ доступен только для чтения, и программа не сможет записать рядом с заданием выходные файлы. Кроме того, программу, запущенную из образа или из папки загрузок, система выполняет из скрытой копии «только для чтения»: из такой копии программа не находит соседние программы пакета, и кнопки вызова FieldView, TMCROS и TMCGROUT не работают.

3. Разрешение первого запуска

При первом запуске система сообщит, что не может проверить разработчика. Разрешить запуск можно одним из трёх способов — достаточно любого.

3.1. Через системные настройки

  1. Откройте программу двойным щелчком. Появится окно с отказом — нажмите «Готово».
  2. Откройте Системные настройки → Конфиденциальность и безопасность.
  3. Пролистайте до раздела «Безопасность»: там будет строка о том, что программа заблокирована, и кнопка «Подтвердить вход» (в системах до macOS 13 — «Всё равно открыть»). Нажмите её.
  4. Подтвердите паролем или Touch ID, затем в следующем окне нажмите «Открыть».

Это делается один раз для каждой из шести программ.

3.2. Через контекстное меню

  1. В папке «Программы» щёлкните по программе правой кнопкой (или Control + щелчок).
  2. Выберите «Открыть» — именно из меню, а не двойным щелчком.
  3. В окне предупреждения нажмите «Открыть».

3.3. Одной командой в Терминале

Откройте Терминал (Finder → Программы → Утилиты → Терминал) и выполните:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/TMCROS.app /Applications/TMCGROUT.app /Applications/TMC_DN.app /Applications/PlanarRT_H.app /Applications/PlanarRT_X.app /Applications/FieldView.app

Команда снимает с программ пометку «скачано из интернета»; после неё они открываются двойным щелчком без предупреждений. Пароль она не запрашивает.

Команду sudo spctl --master-disable («разрешить запуск программ откуда угодно») применять не следует: она отключает проверку для всех программ в системе, а не только для программ пакета.

4. Доступ к файлам

Программы читают и пишут файлы рядом с файлом задания: само задание .tpl, включаемые файлы, распределения .eps, выходные .t, .s, .tt и файлы полей. Если задания лежат в «Документах», «Загрузках», на «Рабочем столе» или на внешнем диске, система запросит разрешение.

  1. При первом обращении появится окно с запросом доступа к папке — нажмите «Разрешить».
  2. Если окно закрыли по ошибке, откройте Системные настройки → Конфиденциальность и безопасность → Файлы и папки, найдите программу и включите нужные папки.
  3. Когда задания лежат на внешнем диске или в сетевой папке, удобнее выдать полный доступ: Конфиденциальность и безопасность → Доступ к диску → «+» → выберите программу.

Держите задание и его результаты в одной папке: программы пакета находят соседние файлы по имени задания.

5. Проверка после установки

  1. Запустите PlanarRT_H.
  2. Меню File → Open, выберите файл задания .tpl.
  3. Меню Run → Run. В строке состояния пойдёт счёт, рядом с заданием появятся выходные файлы.
  4. Откройте полученный файл .t программой TMCROS — должен нарисоваться график.

Расчёт можно запустить и без окон — из Терминала:

/Applications/PlanarRT_H.app/Contents/MacOS/PlanarRT_H -Arb /Users/имя/работа/задание.tpl

6. Руководство пользователя

Руководство входит в поставку и открывается из самой программы: меню Help → About, ссылка «Руководство пользователя». Файл лежит внутри пакета приложения, в Contents/Resources/TMC_Suite_User_Manual.pdf.

7. Если что-то не получилось

Программа не открывается, система говорит, что её нельзя проверить. Разрешение первого запуска не выполнено — см. раздел 3.

Кнопки вызова других программ пакета не работают. Программа запущена из образа или из папки загрузок. Перенесите все шесть приложений в «Программы» и запустите оттуда.

Программа не видит файлы задания. Не выдан доступ к папке — см. раздел 4.

Расчёт идёт, но выходные файлы не появляются. Задание открыто из папки только для чтения (например, прямо из образа). Скопируйте задание в свою рабочую папку.

Installing on macOS

Applies to the TMC_Suite.dmg image, which contains all six programs of the package. The applications are not signed with Apple yet, so the first launch has to be allowed explicitly.

macOS 11 was supported on Macs from roughly 2013 onwards: MacBook Air and MacBook Pro from late 2013, iMac 2014, Mac mini 2014, Mac Pro 2013 and anything released later. Nothing else has to be installed — the Qt libraries are bundled inside every application.

2. Moving the programs to Applications

  1. Open the downloaded TMC_Suite.dmg with a double click — the image is mounted and opens in a Finder window.
  2. Select all six programs in that window — TMCROS, TMCGROUT, TMC_DN, PlanarRT_H, PlanarRT_X, FieldView — and drag them into the Applications folder.
  3. Close the image window and eject the image: click the eject icon next to TMC_Suite in the Finder sidebar.

Do not run the programs directly from the image. The image is read-only, so a program cannot write output files next to the task. On top of that, a program started from the image or from the Downloads folder is executed by the system from a hidden read-only copy: from such a copy it does not find the other programs of the package, and the buttons that open FieldView, TMCROS and TMCGROUT do not work.

3. Allowing the first launch

On the first launch the system reports that it cannot verify the developer. Any one of the three ways below is enough to allow it.

3.1. Through System Settings

  1. Open the program with a double click. A refusal dialog appears — click Done.
  2. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
  3. Scroll down to the Security section: it shows a line saying the program was blocked, with a button Open Anyway. Click it.
  4. Confirm with your password or Touch ID, then click Open in the next dialog.

This is done once per program, for each of the six.

3.2. Through the context menu

  1. In the Applications folder, right-click the program (or Control-click it).
  2. Choose Open — from the menu, not with a double click.
  3. Click Open in the warning dialog.

3.3. With a single command in Terminal

Open Terminal (Finder → Applications → Utilities → Terminal) and run:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/TMCROS.app /Applications/TMCGROUT.app /Applications/TMC_DN.app /Applications/PlanarRT_H.app /Applications/PlanarRT_X.app /Applications/FieldView.app

The command removes the “downloaded from the internet” flag; after it the programs open with a double click and without warnings. No password is asked for.

The command sudo spctl --master-disable (“allow applications from anywhere”) should not be used: it disables the check for every program in the system, not just for this package.

4. Access to files

The programs read and write files next to the task file: the task .tpl itself, included files, .eps distributions, the output .t, .s, .tt and the field files. If the tasks are kept in Documents, Downloads, on the Desktop or on an external disk, the system asks for permission.

  1. On first access a dialog requesting access to the folder appears — click Allow.
  2. If the dialog was dismissed by mistake, open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Files and Folders, find the program and enable the folders it needs.
  3. When tasks are kept on an external disk or a network share, it is simpler to grant full access: Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access → “+” → select the program.

Keep a task and its results in the same folder: the programs of the package find neighbouring files by the task name.

5. Checking the installation

  1. Start PlanarRT_H.
  2. File → Open, select a .tpl task file.
  3. Run → Run. The status bar shows the progress, and output files appear next to the task.
  4. Open the resulting .t file with TMCROS — a plot should be drawn.

A calculation can also be run without windows, from Terminal:

/Applications/PlanarRT_H.app/Contents/MacOS/PlanarRT_H -Arb /Users/user/work/task.tpl

6. User manual

The manual is part of the package and opens from the program itself: Help → About, the “User manual” link. The file is inside the application bundle, at Contents/Resources/TMC_Suite_User_Manual.pdf.

7. If something goes wrong

The program does not open, the system says it cannot be verified. The first launch has not been allowed — see section 3.

Buttons that open the other programs do nothing. The program was started from the image or from the Downloads folder. Move all six applications to Applications and start them from there.

The program does not see the task files. Access to the folder has not been granted — see section 4.

The calculation runs but no output files appear. The task was opened from a read-only folder (for example, straight from the image). Copy the task into your own working folder.
